To ensure that each experience at The Anointed Lab flows with grace, professionalism, and mutual respect, please take a moment to read through the policies below. These guidelines are designed to protect your time, my time, and the energy we create together. By booking a service you agree to honor the terms listed here. Thank you for supporting a space that values intention, clarity, and excellence.
Appointment Booking & Confirmation
Appointments at The Anointed Lab must be booked through the official booking platform. Walk- ins are not accepted at this time.
A deposit is required to secure all appointments. Once your booking is received, you’ll get a confirmation via text or email. Please confirm your appointment within 24 hours of receiving it. Unconfirmed appointments may be released or rescheduled at the artist’s discretion.
Booking in advance is encouraged, as appointment slots fill quickly. You may schedule up to two weeks in advance to ensure availability.
Deposits & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure every appointment. This deposit is applied toward your final service total and must be submitted at the time of booking. No deposit = no appointment.
The remaining balance is due in full at the end of your service, unless otherwise discussed in advance.
Accepted forms of payment:
Cash, Zelle, and all major debit/credit cards
(Payment methods may be updated at any time. Please be prepared to use an alternative option if one is unavailable)
Important:
Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable, even in the case of cancellation or no-show.
If your appointment is cancelled by the artist, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a rescheduled date.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Life happens — I understand. However, out of my respect for my time and other clients, I ask that all cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a forfeited deposit and may be subject to an additional late cancellation fee.
No call, no show = no future bookings.
Clients who do not show up for their appointment without any communication will forfeit their deposit and may be blocked from booking future services.
Rescheduling:
You may reschedule one time per deposit, as long as you provide at least 48 hours’ notice. If a second reschedule is needed, a new deposit will be required to book again.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Punctuality helps ensure you receive the full service experience without delays or rush.
A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After 15 minutes, an additional $20 late fee will be applied to your service total. At 30 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically cancelled, and deposit forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
Arrivals 30 minutes or more late will be considered a no-show. Your appointment will be canceled, your deposit forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
Repeated lateness may result in refusal of future bookings
If you’re running late:
Please notify me as soon as possible. Communication is always appreciated, but excessive lateness may still result in cancellation at the artists discretion.
No Extra Guests
To protect the environment and focus of your appointment, no children or additional guests are allowed in the space unless explicitly approved in advance. No exceptions.
Servicing Minors
The Anointed Lab is a curated beauty space designed for mature, intentional care
Clients must be 18 or older to book services.
Select services are available for minors ages 16-17 with parental consent. A parent or legal guardian must be present at check-in, they may step out or wait outside the service area.
At this time, children hairstyling is not offered and we do not service clients under the age of 16.
The following services are not available to minors under 18:
Brazilian & bikini waxing
Chemical hair services
Acrylic or structured gel enhancements
Intimate or high-risk beauty services
Thank you for respecting the intentional atmosphere and boundaries of this space
Refunds & Returns
Due to the custom nature of all beauty services, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued for completed services under any circumstances.
If you experience a concern with your service, please contact me within 48 hours of your appointment. I will assess the issue and determine if a complimentary adjustment is appropriate. After 48 hours, adjustments may be offered at full price.
Product Sales:
Retail product sales are final, unless the product is defective or unopened and returned within 7 days of purchase. Custom or special-order products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Please be sure to follow all aftercare instructions to maintain the longevity and quality of your service.
Service Guarantee & Satisfaction
Every service at The Anointed Lab is created with excellence and intention. If you’re not satisfied with your results , please reach out with 48 hours of your appointment so we can address your concern.
Complimentary adjustments may be offered at the artist’s discretion —only if the issue is due to a technical error on my part and aftercare was properly followed.
Client Responsibility:
Adjustments will not be offered for concerns caused by improper aftercare, failure to follow instructions, or changes in personal preference after the service is complete.
It is your responsibility to disclose any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities prior to your appointment. I cannot be held liable for adverse reactions due to undisclosed information or allergic responses.
By booking, you acknowledge that beauty services involve a level of risk and artistic interpretation.
Health & Safety
The Anointed Lab is committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and hygiene. Your heath and safety — and mine — are non-negotiable.
Sanitation:
All tools, surfaces, and implements are sanitized and disinfected between each client using industry-grade products. Disposable items are used when applicable to eliminate cross-contamination. Gloves and masks may be worn during services depending on the service type and level of contact.
Client Wellness:
Please do not book an appointment if:
You are feeling unwell or have symptoms of illness (including cough, fever, body aches, etc.)
You’ve been recently exposed to someone with a contagious illness
You have any open wounds, infections, or visible skin/nail concerns in the service area
You are currently being treated for or suspect you may have a nail fungus or bacterial infections
If you arrive showing signs of illness or any of the above conditions, your appointment will be canceled and your deposit forfeited.
Medical Disclosures & Immunocompromised Clients:
Please notify me in advance if you:
Are immunocompromised or on medication that affects your skin or healing
Have recently undergone surgery or have medical restrictions.
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have chronic conditions that may impact your skin, nails, or sensitivity
I will do my best to provide a safe and customized experience. However, services may be modified or declined at my discretion to ensure wellbeing.
Liability:
By booking, you agree that The Anointed Lab is not liable for any reactions, complications, or issues resulting from undisclosed health information, allergies, or failure to follow aftercare.
Client Conduct & Behavior
The Anointed Lab is a space rooted in respect, peace, and professionalism. To protect the atmosphere and uphold the standard of excellence, all clients are expected to conduct themselves accordingly.
Respectful Behavior Only:
Disrespect, aggressive language, sexual remarks, inappropriate jokes, or entitlement will not be tolerated.
I reserve the right to immediately terminate any appointment in which I feel unsafe, disrespected, or uncomfortable — with no refund.
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or boundary-crossing (verbal or physical) will result in permanent banning from future bookings.
Hygiene & Preparedness:
Please arrive clean and well-groomed. If receiving nail, foot, or body services, ensure the area is free from excessive dirt, odor, or buildup.
Clients arriving in an unsanitary condition may be denied service and forfeit their deposit.
Phone Use & Distractions:
To ensure a focused and timely service, please keep phone calls and distractions to a minimum during your appointment.
No speakerphone calls or FaceTime unless approved by your artist in advance.
Children & Guests:
No extra guests are allowed unless pre-approved. This includes children, partners, or friends.
The Anointed Lab is a private service environment — extra foot traffic disrupts the energy and safety of the space.
Energy Check:
This is a sacred space. Please come with positive energy and an open mind. I honor every client with care and presence, and ask that the same energy be returned.
Allergy & Medical Disclosure
Your safety is a top priority at The Anointed Lab — but it starts with transparency.
Disclosing Allergies & Conditions:
Clients are required to disclose any allergies, skin sensitivities, medications, or medical conditions that could impact their service. This includes (but is not limited to):
Latex or adhesive allergies
Reactions to acrylic, gel, or monomer
Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, open wounds)
Medications that thin the skin or impact healing
Pregnancy or hormone-related changes
Autoimmune or chronic conditions
If you are unsure whether a product or service is safe for you, please notify me before booking. A patch test or consultation may be recommended.
Liability Wavier:
The Anointed Lab is not liable for allergic reactions, injuries, or complications resulting from:
Undisclosed allergies or medical information
Failure to follow aftercare instructions
Pre-existing conditions not mentioned prior to service
Patch Test Available:
Patch test are available upon request and are highly encouraged if you are a first-time client, have sensitive skin, or have had past reactions to products.
Photos, Videos, and Marketing Use
The Anointed Lab is a visual brand — and your service may be captured to showcase artistry, results, and the work that goes into every appointment.
By booking, you grant permission for photos and videos taken during or after your appointment to be used for marketing, education, and promotional content across platforms, including social media, websites, and branded materials.
Content May Include:
Before/after photos
Process videos
Styled finish photos
Nail, hair, or skin close-ups
Client Identity:
Whenever possible, identifying features (such as your face) will be excluded unless you give verbal or written permission. Most content focuses on the work itself.
Opting Out:
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please let me know before your appointment begins. I will always honor your request and maintain your privacy.
The Anointed Lab retains all rights to creative work and content produced during your appointment.
Nail Services
Our nail services are an extension of intentional care and craftsmanship. To maintain quality and protect both your time and mine, the following policies apply to all nail appointments
No Outside Work
For safety, hygiene, and consistency, I do not remove or work over nails done by another artist. If you arrive with previous work on, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
Fills & Repairs
Fills are only offered to returning clients who received their original set at The Anointed Lab.
Free repairs are honored within 3 days of your appointment for product-related concerns only. After that, repairs are $10 per nail and must be booked in advance.
Lifting due to improper aftercare will not be covered under free repair terms
Soak-Offs
Gel polish soak-offs are for natural nails only.
Soak-offs for acrylic or builder gel sets are only available to returning clients.
No exceptions will be made for removal of outside work.
Nail Art & Freestyles
If you book a freestyle set, creative direction is 100% in my hands. No design changes will be made during your appointment.
If you desire a specific look or art, it must be communicated and selected at booking. Otherwise, your set will receive a basic polish finish.
Waxing Services
Wax services at The Anointed Lab are offered with gentleness, care, and precision. These policies are in place to ensure your comfort, hygiene, and the integrity of the experience.
Cleanliness & Hygiene
Clients receiving body on intimate waxing are expected to arrive freshly cleansed.
Do not apply oils, lotion, or deodorant to the areas being waxed prior to your appointment
If proper hygiene is not met for intimate areas (Brazilian or bikini), I reserve the right to decline service without refund.
Health & Safety
Please inform me of any skin conditions, medications (such as Accutane), or recent exfoliating treatments before your service. Waxing on irritated or compromised skin is not safe and may result in a reschedule or cancellation.
Aftercare & Add-Ons
Redness, sensitivity, and minor irritation are normal after waxing. I offer optional post-wax treatments (like soothing oil or gentle exfoliation) to support your skins healing process. These may be booked as add-ons or discussed during your appointment.
